FPE is excited to add our new (to us) bus to the ministry in Cochabamba!!

January 15, 2020

After two years of actively being in the process of buying, we have finally been able to use the gift that you and many others so generously gave to the Project of Hope Foundation (formerly known as House of Hope) and purchase a ministry bus.  This bus is going to be a blessing in at least two very big ways.

First, it will help us to more efficiently host short-term volunteer teams that travel throughout the year to Cochabamba and help us with projects that empower churches to do local community ministry.  Now we will be able to pick teams up in one safe vehicle with room for all their luggage and everyone together.  This will help us to navigate the traffic of the city as well as go to more remote areas to join ministries in their work.

Second, this bus will also double as the main transportation for our mobile medical and dental clinics that go all around the city and provinces surrounding Cochabamba.  This will help with storage and ease of travel and will ensure that these clinics will be efficient for years to come.  Just this year (2019) in the medical and dental clinics, we served over 1,000 children and their families and provided basic medical and dental checkups in some of the poorest communities around Cochabamba.  We had 28 clinics this year and with this bus, we will have the capacity to do even more!

So we want to say thank you.  Thank you for your patience with your gift to the foundation.  Many of you gave in 2018 and have been patiently waiting to hear how we used the funds.  Thank you for the sacrificial gift that you gave that provided such a Christmas blessing to the Project of Hope Foundation.  Thank you for partnering with us to do the work of God’s Kingdom here in Bolivia and on behalf of the Foundation, we consider it an honor that every time we step on this bus from now on, we will be praying for you and your local ministry as well.  The Foundation is working to help transform one life at a time for the Kingdom of God.  We are so grateful for your help in making that happen.
