Recommended readings

We recommend your team read either When Helping Hurts by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert or Toxic Charity by Robert Lupton to prepare you and your team for your trip. These readings are suggested because to help your team understand cross-cultural ministry and how to honor the culture of Bolivia during your time with us in Bolivia.  We ask you to read this book because many people with completely pure intentions can do damage to local ministries due to cultural insensitivity.
